Hurricane Miriam: She’s spun off and died out in the Pacific, sending only clouds and a gentle rain to San Carlos. Phew!

Tropical Storm Norman: Looks to be heading directly up the Sea of Cortez…no bueno! See the forecast models here.

Standing Rigging: Still not here.  Somebody up there wasn’t praying hard enough!

Controlled Jibe: We’ve revamped a few things on the blog:
* Selkie’s Current Restoration:  Hopefully there won’t be much added to this anytime soon!
* Feed the Soul: We’ve added these new pages  Cuisine, Fishing and Natural History
* Maps:  We’ll have a static “Where Are We Now” map (see to the right) and we’ll also link each post to a Google Map feature (see below).  This is especially exciting since we should be mobile soon!
